Vehicle Detail
1952 Chrysler Saratoga All original except for the gas tank. This car has original paint and all chrome. The 331 cubic-inch Hemi head V-8 sits under a oil bath air cleaner was designed to produce 180 horsepower. The front two-piece windshield has a cowl ventilator under it. (One of the flat glasses panels is cracked but easy to replace because it is flat – see pictures) The semi-automatic transmission is a great source of mystery to many. It acts like a manual transmission when starting and reversing but is an auto transmission shifting through the gears. Passing gear is activated by pressing a button on the gear selector arm. The rear window is a three piece and curved and fully intact. As you look at the pictures you can see that this car is a great barn find. Radio works and so does the compass and is a great in-town cruiser. I never had it on the Freeway because so I have never driven it over 45 since I have had it in my possession. The left front break line cracked and I have not replaced it because of vision problems at this time. There is two rust spots on the rear bumper so please check the pictures. And because the gas tank was replaced if the car sits for a while you need to prime the double barrel carburetor at starting time. The tires need to be replace, no if’s ands or butts. I am selling it to fund a trip for myself and my wife to the Holy Land - that is the reason. I had surgery on my eyes and some things like repairing break lines in the dark areas are not as easy to do anymore. So I have decided to sell it as it sits. (That way you get a bargain that has so many possibilities and we get a trip to the Holy Land so we can see it ourselves.) Pastor Keith Ritchie
