You are bidding on a clean little 71 V8 Vega. The car is equipped with a very healthy sounding and strong running 283, a T-50 5 speed transmission, and a V8 Monza 10 bolt rear with torque arm setup. It runs and drives very nice and needs nothing to start driving and enjoying. I have put a lot of money and time in the car since I purchased it. Some of the new equipment includes: Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, Aluminum radiator, exhaust pipes and Spintech mufflers, LT-1 style valve covers, NOS Fly Eye air cleaner. That's just what I can think of. I know there is more. The body is in good shape but is not perfect. While it is a very solid car with excellent floor pans, there are some minor rust spots. They include the small spots top of the passenger fender, the passenger rear quarter has a very small area, and some scale at the bottom of the windshield on the driver's side. NONE of these areas require immediate attention and in no way are hurting the integrity of the body. I have an entire spare and rust free windshied/dash section I am going to give the winning bidder with the car. The paint on the car shines up well and looks great from a short distance but it is not without dings, dents, scrapes and scratches. The interior is clean and has no major issues. The carpet is tattered under the driver's side floormat but is easily concealed by the mat. The front seats are Recaro and look and feel pretty darn good. The rest of the interior is very stock and in good shape. Tires are in good shape and the Centerline wheels are near perfect! The car drives straight down the road with no ill manners and no cooling issues. It is definitely geared for highway cruising and not drag racing!! All in all, it's an old Vega that has held up very well and is a solid driver ready to cruise and/or take to the next level. Feel free to ask any questions. Thank you!
