1967 Porsche 912 For your consideration is this beautiful rust free Porsche 912 Coupe finished in Tangerine over black interior, a very classic color combination. The car has been lovingly restored and presents itself extremely well, it has won numerous awards in local and regional shows. -Exterior- The body is in outstanding condition, the paint is near perfect condition…I think the only flaw is a single small stone chip in the front. There are no signs of accident damage, all of the lines are even on this car, all of the panels line up perfectly. Structurally this car is solid, there is absolutely no rust... top to bottom including the usual places such as the trunk, battery tray and floors, it will be my pleasure to send additional photos of these areas to serious buyers. The grill is in perfect condition, the fins are laser straight. The wheels are the original chrome plated steel wheels wrapped in brand new tires (the spare is also new) All the glass is nice and clear with no scratches or hazing. -Interior- The interior is in very good condition , the carpetsare nice and clean with major wear or stains. The dash and rear decklid/parcel shelf are both in excellent condition. The door panels and map pockets are in very good condition. The headliner is brand new. The car spent it’s entire life in an enclosed garage so there is no sun damage whatsoever. All of the guages work as they should. -Engine & Transmission- The engine is in outstanding mechanical condition, the 1.6 has undergone a rebuild approximately 10 years ago when the engine was taken down to the crank and rebuilt with new pistons, big bore kit, cylinders, wires, plugs, gaskets, voltage regulator, fuel pump etc, etc… this car was given the attention it deserved over the years and the result is a well sorted Porsche. A fairly comprehensive stack of receipts accompanies this 912 documenting all of the work completed. This 912 starts right up on the first try each and every time, idles smoothly and runs as strong as it did when it was new. This car is simply provides the driver with nothing but pure enjoyment behind the wheel. This 912 does not burn or leak a drop of oil. The transmission shifts seamlessly through the all of the gears with no slipping or grinding. There are no strange noises or vibrations from the engine or drive train. The ride in this 912 is well balanced and true, there are no squeaks, rattles or other unwanted noises, the car drives straight and true...there is nothing indicating this car is almost ½ a century old!
