This 1961 Pontiac Catalina convertible has been off the road for 25 plus years. I have clear title to the car in my own name. I purchased it in at estate sale. I was told it had sat in the same garage at least that long. The car is rather rusty. It could be restored but would need a lot of work. The floor pans behind the front seat are completely rusted through and the trunk looks very thin. There are however a ton of excellent parts on this car. If you are restoring a '61 Pontiac convertible, this would probably be the ultimate parts car. Lots of great chrome. For whatever reason, the previous owner started a restoration and completely torn the dash apart. I am not 100% sure that every part is still there, but for the most part it appears to be fairly complete. I do know that one of the side windows is missing. What you see in the pictures is what you will receive (except for one of the suit cases holding a few of the parts - those will be re-boxed). On the plus side, he sent a bunch of the chrome from the dash and the window surrounds out and had them rechromed or polished. There is probably over a thousand dollars worth of plating/polishing work alone done. I have taken a bunch of pictures of the car to hopefully show its condition. I don't have access to a lift so I was not able to get fully under the car. However, from what I can see, the frame does look pretty good. I also did check that the engine is free and not locked up. Please also note I have no keys for the car. The family I bought the car from could not find them. I also DO NOT have any PHS documents on the car. This is a no reserve auction and I have priced it low. This car will sell at this price so if you’re interested, get in on the bidding now. I am willing to store the car in indoor storage once the auction has ended for 60 days for free while you arrange shipping. I am willing to store the car for up to 10 more months for $50 per month (each month paid in advance) to allow you plenty of time to arrange for shipping or come pick the car up. I am willing to work and help with any shipper you choose, but you will have to locate your own shipping company. Payment for car must be in full within 10 days of auctions close. Car is located in Tooele, Utah, which is 35 miles west of Salt Lake City. Tooele is located 10 miles south of I-80.
