Vehicle Detail
***Before you bid I strongly recommend to check out the truck first. The pictures don't show all the details. Send me a message for an appointment 2003 Ford F250 4X4 Super Duty Xtra Cab just inspected 139,892 miles. Truck runs good truck need a little work oil pan needs replacing I currently have to add about a quart every two weeks on the highway it does smoke a little due to oil getting on the y pipe. Windsieild has a crack across the very top and the manifold gasket needs to be replaced on the passenger side. It has the usual Ford rust for its year the bed rails are rusted out and the price reflects this, also normal nicks and dings for a work truck. The cab and door sills are in good shape as far as the rust goes. Motor runs strong, tranny shifts perfect, and 4X4 works as it should. 4X4 has the desirable and more reliable manual locking hubs. Will deliver with in a 100 mile radius of Providence, RI or meet with in this range WHEN BUY IT NOW OPTION IS USED. see map just to make clear the radius is for Providence RI NOT the second one of CT. Q: Was looking at the line up of the cab to the bed! I see someone else noticed the two did not line up, what can you tell me. Looks like they put a different bed on that does not line up, or are the rails rotted so the bed has dropped? Lenny PS You are correct anyone wanting to buy should inspect it themselves!Oct-13-14A: Yes the bed rails are rotted out as stated in ad and will need to be replaced.Q: I live in Ohio, is this truck in good enough condition for me to drive it home before working on it? What size bed, 8 foot or 6 foot?Oct-13-14A: Yes I it would make the trip no problem it may smoke a little due to oil leaking on the y pipe.Q: I have 2 questions: 1. Has the bed been replaced? It appears to not be aligned with the cab? 2. Does it need a new oil pan or just the gasket or is it leaking and we're not sure where it's coming from? ThanksOct-12-14A: No the bed has not been replaced It does seem to be leaking from gasket however just to be on the safe side i would recommend replacing the oil pan.Q: Hello, very interested in the truck. Is there any way you could call me. I apologize but I don't feel like messaging all night over some questions. I live in md and won't be able to inspect. Thanks Basil! Oct-11-14A: Hello I just left you a message on your phone as I stated in the message the bed rails are rusted out and going to need to be replaced. I also prefer to complete this transaction through through eBay so we both are protected. I have had offers to complete the transaction outside of eBay I will not do that.Q: I WAS WONDERING IF THE TRUCK WOULD BE DRIVABE FOR A LONG DISTANCE Bcause you said it needsa oil pan,Will it hold oil,Also does the rust have eat out the door sills. Thanks a lot RoyOct-09-14A: Yes It will make a long distance currently i have to add about a quart every two weeks. No the door rails are not rusted out the cab and doors have are in good shape. The bed support rails will need to be replaced.
