Vehicle Detail

Very nice running 924. Starts right up at the flip of a key, and purrs. Get in this car and drive it anywhere. It drives amazing! Just about the best handling Porsche ever. Compression and leak down test tested at full compression in every cylinder, and no leaks. Transmission shifts great. Clutch is good. Lights work, windshield wipers work. Windows, seats and mirrors all move fine. Has a bigger 944 radiator. No rust anywhere (galvanized.) Crystal clean title. Even has an original owners manual! Recently did a full service, including: -New timing belt -New water pump -Valve adjustment -Oil change -New fuel filter -New fuel pumps -Cleaned the fuel tank Suspension is great. Did complete brake service: -New brake master cylinder -New brake pads -New rotors -Rebuilt the calipers -New wheel cylinders -New brake lines all around -New wheel bearings -New rear axles and boots Misc: -New rear hatch struts (yes, the trunk stays open!) -New battery All geniune top-quality Porsche parts. There are zero miles on these items. Thousands put into it for the next owner to enjoy. I have paperwork for everything. Car also includes a lot of extra parts as well! The car mechanically is 100 times better than it looks on the outside. A couple hours polish will bring its finish up to match its mechanicals. Also the interior is clean, which is hard to find on these. Driver side and rear non-ripped. Arm rest console has some small holes. It does have a few tiny dings here and there on the body (lower valance L side, and a few dings on the R fender. But for a daily driver, who cares?!) The reason I'm selling is that I've hurt my legs and I haven't been able to use the car much. Things I haven't gotten around to fixing yet, that can be fixed on your own time that won't effect driving it. (Basically, some shade-tree wiring repair in the dash needs a few hours cleaned up): -Speedometer & tach work intermittently -Horn not working -Hazard blinker light in dash blinks constantly (when the hazards are not on) -A/C fan won't turn on -The hatch sometimes hard to open (catches need grease --half hour DIY job) -Missing timing belt cover (cheap part) That's about it. These cars are very fun to drive. If you want to see a video of the car running, just let me know, I can email it to you. Thanks! On Oct-19-14 at 00:56:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Drove the car a bit on the freeway today. There is a tiny bit of vibration past ~70 mph. The front Toyos will need to be balanced for sure (prev owner had put them on before I bought.) I have the original-sized tires included with the sale, if wanted. Also, the driver side exterior door lock seems to be stuck, couldn't get the key to turn (door locks fine from the inside) Lock itself will need a little work with a locksmith. Hazard blinker light issue seems to have subsided a bit... or at times it had gone away completely.
