What we have here is your basic GMC S-15, a Chevrolet S-10 with different badges. It's a 2 wheel drive 5-speed truck, with a 7-foot box, rubber floor, cloth bench seat, crank windows, manual locks, and idiot lights rather than gauges. It's nothing special, but it works. I purchased it here on eBay 2 years ago with hopes of making a daily driver out of it on my 53-mile one-way commute to work, getting better fuel mileage than my diesel Silverado. It made the 600-mile drive home with only one hiccup, getting 29.8 mpg the whole way. Putting it up for sale, as I have the chance to move closer to work, and no longer need the extra vehicles around the house. It was in worse shape than I'd expected when I purchased it, so it became more of a project and an around-town chore truck (yard waste hauling, landfill running, grocery getting). As one can see below, I put more effort into keeping it running and driving than looking good. New Parts Added Since I've Owned the Truck:- Alternator and belt- Battery- Rear shocks and mounting brackets- Front shocks- Vacuum Pump- Radiator The Not-So-Good About It:- Body is rough- Parking Brake cable is no good. The brake works, but it won't release on its own- Driver's side door window crank handle missing clip to hold it on (it works, but falls off when you shut the door)- Original fuel filter setup was replaced with a clear gasoline fuel filter under the hood, and another in the line right before the aftermarket lift pump added by the previous owner. That filter is small so it plugs often. I have the original fuel filter head, cleaned up, and it will be included- Clutch Safety Switch - the wire clip which plugs into it broke (wires pulled out). Wiring is fixed together so the truck will start, but it can now start without the clutch needing to be pressed.- Mileage is truly unknown. The mileage listed is what the odometer reads, but who knows if it's been rolled more than once- Hydraulics on the topper are worn out and won't hold the hatch open Included in auction:- The truck- The Topper- Fuel Filter head (filter pictured is old and is unknown if it's clean or plugged)- Trailer Wiring Harness- Original dealership shop manual. - Spare tire on matching wheel and trim ring Upon winning the auction for my little gem, a $200 deposit via PayPal is required, balance payable in cash at time of pick up.
