Track car project or restore back to street. Unfortunately, I have no time to finish this car. It has a safety devices roll cage installed, a 3.0 liter motor, 5 speed 915 gear box ( looks original to the car) and 6 x 16 inch genuine fuchs rims. The car has been stored inside for the last 15 years. It will need the fuel system, brakes etc gone through. The motor is a type 930/04 which is a 1978 big port US SC motor. The motor has had the top end redone and reassembled but has not been run since the work was completed. It was recently put into the car but the electronics and injection will require further work. The motor has been fitted with the later pressure fed chain tensioners and has oil lines to the front with a loop cooler. The car was originally Silver but it was repainted Grand prix white . This is a solid car with solid under carriage. There is some mystery undercoating inside the front trunk where the bumper mounts (see picture) but the reason for it is unclear. The odometer shows 162K miles. Please look at the pictures carefully and ask questions before the end of the auction. If you want to see the car in person, it is being stored in Lagrange NY at a friends house. If you do not see a part in the pictures ask or assume it is not there. Missing parts that I see - (no guarantee there aren't more), capacitive discharge unit, muffler (heat exchangers are pretty rusty), most of the interior passenger seat, center fuse block in the main fuse panel Other : The Title has no liens. There is a typo in the title, the second digit is a 9 instead of a one. My understanding is this can be fixed when the car is re-registered by taking a picture of the vin and providing that to Motor vehicle at the time of registration.
