1969 Mercury Marquis Brougham, 429-4V 360HP Solid west coast car showing 68K on the odometer, 429-4V 360 HP Thunderjet engine. Body- Frame virtually rust free, body panels very good with minor rust on door corners and rear wheel opening. Quarters and fenders very good, trunk floor good with exception of lower well has some rust (looks like trunk seal leaked), floor pan very good with exception of front passenger foot well, Vinyl roof was in poor condition and has been coated with rubberized leak-seal. Overall the car is decent and very restorable or usable as a daily driver with some work. Driveline- 429-4V 360HP Thunderjet starts and runs good. Holley carb, stock intake, exhaust manifolds, air cleaner. Stock valve covers come with the car. Accel coil. Engine looks mostly original and clean. Auto trans seems fine but have not had the car on the highway. Axle looks like Ford 9-3/4”. Car has replacement single exhaust and looks like was originally a dual exhaust car. Interior- Interior is decent though needs work. Leather seats are good with exception of stitching coming loose on driver seat. Carpet needs replacing, needs stereo, pass side rear electric window switch missing, ashtray has been cut for aftermarket gauges, headliner fair, dash has some cracks and comes with pad. Steering wheel not original and horn button is mounted on column, cruise control not working. Exterior: Bumpers are decent, stainless trim okay. Wheels are 17”x 9” Cobra rims, tires are 275/40 worn to wear bars, Brakes are functional, as are lights, wipers, etc. This car is a complete running and driving vehicle that has not been restored. Car is mostly usable in as-is condition however will require refurbishing, restoration, or other work. Battery drains after car has been sitting. Car is sold as-is with no warranty.
