Vehicle Detail
1958 Chevrolet Station Wagon If you want to own something where the first thing out of people's mouth is "you don't see many of those" then this is it. Just ask yourself, have you ever seen a blacked out 1958 Chevrolet Wagon? Didn't think so. This car gets loads of attention no matter where you go. She's no trailer queen either, would get in it and drive across country and any time. Has made 3, 400 mile trips to Pigeon Forge and the first leg of the Hot Rod Power tour in the past 2 years. Under the hood it has a fresh .030 over 350 with a 700R4 tranny bolted to it. Motor and tranny have less than 2000 miles on them since they both were fresh. Engine has 3 deuces on it that were all just rebuilt with ethanol friendly rebuild kits. They are set up on a progressive linkage where the engine just runs off the middle carb up to 50% throttle opening, so on the highway the car will get 20 mpg's. Engine has a mild cam in it, with headers, dual exhaust and thrush mufflers, car sounds really good. All the suspension under the car is less than 6 months old, has drop spindles, disc brakes, power steering, new control arm ball joints, and full air ride. The air ride is BC Fab's level 3 kit, air lift dominator bags, Accuair VU4 4-way manifold, AVS 7 switch control box, 2 Viair 380 chrome compressors, 5 gallon chrome tank, front shock relocator brackets with new shocks front and rear. Has new wheels and tires, 20x8's in the front and 20x8.5's in the rear. The interior of the car is finished in tropical turquoise, all the lights, signals, gauges, speedometer, horn and radio work in the car. All the windows are tinted with 5% tint except the front 2, they are 20%. The exterior of the car was shot with Kirker Hot Rod Black, the bumpers and trim pieces have been powdercoated gloss black. The under side of the car is very solid, even spare tire well. Has spare tire and original jack still in it. I have every piece of nomad trim for the car, mainly the side molding, can be arranged to be included with the sale of the car. This wagon isn't a frame off show car by any means, but if your looking for an awesome looking, attention getting, dependable driver that you can load the family up in and go anywhere, then this is it. Car hits the road great, smooth as can be running 70 mph on the interstate and stops like a dream too. Any questions feel free to call or text me at 336-362-8095. Thanks for looking. Also their is a walk around video on youtube, just search 89 Speed Shop 1958 Wagon walk around. I will try to attach it to the listing.
