Purchased car as a modern day barn find in 2012. The previous owner passed away so all I have to go on was the receipts that he had in a folder in the car. It was last tagged in 1995 and was sitting in a garage for the past 17years until I purchased it in 2012. The receipts show that the engine was overhauled, new convertible top, up graded stereo and misc. item. I brought it home, got it running, replaced all the brake lines with stainless steel lines. Replaced all the brake hoses and wheel cylinders. Replaced upper and lower ball joints. Installed all new tires, tubes and liners. (they have about 100 miles on them now ). The transmission works as it should, does not slip. It does have a leak, possible tail shaft seal but have not confirmed that. Installed new fuel tank, along with new sending unit and fuel pump. The top is not working but I removed the cylinders so that I can work it manually. I can jump the relay and the deck lid extension works as it should. It will need a hose kit and I was going to convert it over to transmission fluid which would require to flush the complete system. All the glass is good and fits the convertible top perfectly. This is a manual window car so no problem with putting the windows up and down. This is a nice car to keep as a driver or a nice car if you would want to make a show car. It has all the roadster emblems and as far as I know the grab handle is the only thing missing that a roadster would have. The dash pad also appears to have been replaced but looks nice with no cracks. I have this car for sale locally and I am currently driving the car daily to advertise it.
