Honda FatCat 1987 Purchased brand new off the show room floor by my father. I am selling this for him. He used it a few years and then placed it into storage for the past 20+years. Model: Honda TR200G FatCat Engine: 199cc OHC Single-Cylinder four stroke VIN Number: JH2TE1104GK506097 Transmission: Automatic 5 Speed What’s included? Look At The Honda FatCat pictures. The extra new parts pictured, the extra used wiring harness and the other parts pictured, the original took kit pictured, and the FatCat original Brochure. DESCRIPTION: Parts or repair. Not running. Look at high resolution pictures. My father purchased this brand new off the show room floor in 1987. He used it for a few years and took very good care of it. Then one night someone broke into my parent’s house and stole it from then. My father was crushed. They lived in Bucks County. It was found in Center City Philadelphia and recovered by the police about 2 weeks later. A person was riding it down a sidewalk. Anyway, I went down with my father to get it and brought it home. He made sure it ran and then placed it into storage in a shed for the next 20+ years. The person caught riding it got off scott free because “it would not be proved that he was the one who took it!” What a wonderful legal system we have. My father had talked about giving it to me to fix it up. I purchased some new parts I saw on EBay including a new carburetor, new throttle cable, new coil and coil wire, and some other parts (See pictures). I went down to get the FatCat from him to see if it could be restored on Saturday 09/27/2014. I looked it over on Sunday 09/27/2014 and the air box had some grass clippings from probably a field mouse or something similar. They had eaten through the air filter and had grass placed back to the carburetor. The motor appears frozen and I could not get it to turn over. I did not take the spark plug out or squirt anything into the carb or through the spark plug hole. I tried to use the kick starter, but it did not move. I called my father and shared what I found and said I don’t have the time or space to restore it. He said to sell it, so it’s now listed. Title: This Honda FatCat did not come with a title back in 1987. My father was given his owners card by the dealership and is listed in the pictures. I am selling this for my father. End information added 09/29/2014On Oct-06-14 at 12:24:27 PDT, seller added the following information: New information added 10/06/2014 Topic: engine: A bidder asked a question about the engine. Yes it appears to be frozen from sitting. I tried again today to use the kick starter and could not get it to budge. However, the gears all work as of today. The bike was used lightly. My father bought it and used it when he was in his 50s for some trail riding. I hope this information helps. End new information added 10/06/2014.
