MSRP in 1954 was $2774.00 ....how times have changed! The most desirable Color combination! Classic Polo White Exterior Sportsman Red Interior The Corvette currently is powered by a Chevrolet 350 V8 along with a Turbo 350 Transmission. It has plenty of power and accelerates and shifts nicely. It rides on wide whites and still has its original hub caps which sell for 400.00-500.00 EACH to give you an idea on how rare these cars have become. The remarkable part is everything is there....interior and exterior virtually every piece.....and finding these parts when missing is extremely difficult when missing. It can be left as it is ...as a daily cruiser or fully restored and taken to the next level. It also is a very nice candidate for a ProTour or RestoMod Corvette.....Original classic lines and looks completed with fresh engineering and some cool wheels! The Exterior would be classified as very original and of poor driver quality. The Paint we would estimate at over 30 years old with many small nicks, touchups and a few minor stress cracks. One would expect this given its age....and the bonus is she isn't all glossed up with fresh paint hiding serious damage! You get what you see. The Exterior trim is all original as well it would appear....and in remarkable shape given its age.....many pieces do show some pitting and their age. The Exterior Glass is all in great shape with no pits or cracks.....the windshield appears Original to us bearing the period correct LOF logo. The Soft Top and mechanical bows and assembly is all there and operates well....the top material is a little tired in appearance but there are no rips or tears. We took some close up photos so you could see for yourself. The Chassis and frame appears very solid....we included many photos so you could see how clean and tidy it is. The Engine compartment as well is tidy showing pride of ownership and maintenance. The Interior is as well very Original....we suspect the carpet is original to the car and also the door panels. The Seats appear to have been recovered and are in nice shape. The Interior is quite acceptable and presentable. Some of the gauges have been replaced....like the tach. Many of the original gauges still appear to work like the fuel and temp gauge. The lights are currently non op but that may be but a minor wiring/fuse issue. In general these cars continue to appreciate in value and are a part of every Corvette enthusiasts collection When they see her they stare and and say...How old is it?.....Is that really a Corvette?
