I am selling my all original OEM 1988 Honda Fourtrax 250r TRX250. Check my other listings as well, as I will be listing a really nice '85 Kawasaki Tecate as well as another 350x or two and and 1987 Honda ATC 250sx. This bike has low hours and is all original. It was sand dune ridden, and I am the third owner. I have had it in my collection for about two years, but it is time to sell. It is not restored or re-done. The last owner bought it in 1989 from the original owner. He owned it from 1989 until I got it. It was his wifes bike to ride at Dumont and Glamis. They did one top end in it back in 2000 and installed an ESR Reed valve. It has not been ridden in probably six or seven years. It is still on stock bore and uses stock Honda Piston. This bike is nearly completely 100% OEM stock bike. The only non OEM parts are:ESR Aluminum Grab Bar (has super small crack around on of the welds)ESR Reed cageRear Ohtsu tires were replaced with Dunlops due to dry crackingThats it. The rest of the bike is stock, down to the grips, plastic and handlebars. Still has the OEM keyed ignition and OEM tool box with the OEM tool kit inside of it. This bike is suitable for a collector (or a rider), but it is not super mint. However, for its age and use, this is a very tidy and complete machine, and with no cheesy aftermarket compromises and it looks really good. Specifics and details:The OEM plastic is spider cracked, and it is on both the front and rear fenders. It does not look terrible, but it is noticable. If you know Fourtrax 250r, then you know that just about every bike suffers from this ailement, unless the owner replaced the plastic. There is one super small crack in the front fender, see pic. It is about 1/2" long, so no big deal. Aside from that, the rest of the plastic is OK.Fenders are NOT trimmed or cutSeat has a small tear or two in it, but nothing major - see pics New Owner would be well served to replace OEM decals, as they are peeling up, but still mostly all intactThe tires are in good shape, front has maybe 75% life and rear has maybe 70%Includes the original condition OEM tool kitFrame looks good and does not have much wear / boot wear marks. There are some light scuffs and flaking around some welds, but not a ton The Bottom of the bike (skid plates) look mint and have had any hard hits. See pics. Sand dunes only, so no rocksThis bike is very nice, and very clean. I would rate it at a 8.5 out of 10. Cash is preferred, but we will take payment however is easiest for you for to send, as we understand that some buyers might be out of the country. I am just a nut for older dirt bikes and ATV's from the 1980's. I have a nice collection of bikes that I have built up over 15 years of collecting and messing about.
