Up for bid is a rare 1970 Datsun 510.Its a three owner car me being the third.I bought the car in January of 2009 in Oklahoma.The car now resides in Texas.The previous owner had some work done to the car,brakes,tires and he was going to get the car running again, he took the car to a mechanic he found that the engine was seized up.So the car sat for about year after he failed to get the vehicle running.There is a rebuilt L series engine on ebay that will fit this car for about $1700.The good thing about buying a rebuilt engine is you know what you are getting as opposed to somebody telling the car runs but don't know how worn down the engine actually is.If you look the pictures speak for the condition of the car.You will also see that car has A/C this is a very rare feature.I had plans of restoring the 510 I just haven't had time or money to get it fixed they way i would like it is currently sitting on jack stands so it is not on the ground.Its a good project car all parts are in tact just needs restoration. I'm throwing some extras in a 510 Haynes Repair manual and How to modify your Nissan&Datsun ohc engine by Frank Honsowetz this book will tell you everything you need to know about the L series engine and a couple of 510 hot wheels.
