This auction is for a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe. It is what I call in Survivor condition. It is not often that you find a pretty close to original Corvette of this vintage. I am always suspicious of restored cars as you really don't know what has been done unless you have pictures to show the process. This car hides nothing. You can see it for what it is.There are only 8500 coupes built that year. Very few had AC and a little less then 10% were automatic. Color is Good Wood Green with Saddle Vinyl interior. To begin with the car is an all original matching numbers car. Code "HO" 327 4 BBL V-8, 300 HP with Automatic Transmission. The car also has factory Power Steering, Front Disc Brakes, Air Conditioning, Tinted Glass and factory Rally Wheels. Not original to the car is the AM/FM aftermarket radio and antenna. The interior is all original, door panels, dash pads, seats and headliner with the exception of a new carpet set. Headliner is drooping due to a stray mouse. Will need to be replaced. Even the jack is still in its original holder. Under the hood is all stock. It is missing the chrome ignition shielding on the top part of the motor. The side pieces are still intact. Also missing is the spare tire carrier. Has its correct date coded radiator and coolant recovery tank. Dual exhaust system is in good shape. All electrical s appear to be in working order except for the tach. Even the clock keeps correct time. We have been driving the car for the past couple of weeks and the odometer which was working decided to stop. Car has 59,000 miles on it so you can probably add a few more. Most of the top surface of the car is original paint but showing its age. Sides of the car have been spotted in. There are some key mark scratches down the side of the car from a jilted lover. I do have to say though that this car is super straight down both sides. All the wheel lips are in nice shape. Body lines including door lines, hood lines and head light door lines are near perfect! All glass is original to the car with the exception of a replaced front windshield. We had the car on a lift if you need underside shots. Frame is in very nice shape. All floors and braces on underside are perfect. I did notice on either side of the frame end caps in front of the rear tires there was a very minor repair (really not worth mentioning). I think if you ground down the weld mark it wouldn't even be noticeable. The car runs and drives really well. The AC is all intact and probably could be charged to work. Prior owner had this car for more than 25 years until we were able to acquire it. We could go on and on and end up writing a novel.
