Vehicle Detail
1987 silverado shortbed. This 87 chevy has the 5.0 throttle body injected engine, it is a stock rebuild with very few miles on it since freshened. It runs very smooth and quiet with no issues and no leaks or drips. It has the desirable 700r transmission that is very smooth and works perfect. It has a good cold a/c system on it and the heat funtions as it should. The engine bay has been kept in it's original state all the way down to the fender mounted jack, it's clean and looks nice. It has a new exhaust system and convertor that were done in the factory specs. The truck runs and drives great, it is as dependable as it was in 1987. The exterior of the truck has a new red paint job that is very nice, it has an excellent shine to it. It has a spray in liner in case you want to haul some small items without scratching it up. All of the exterior trim pieces and bumpers are in good shape as well. This is a rust free southern truck that has never seen the northern winters or salty roads. It has a great curb appeal, and grabs alot of attention. The interior has a newly covered seat, new carpet and new pull straps and door trim. The headliner is original and has minor fade but is still good and tight, no sagging. It has a new dash pad from GM, not the cheaper off brand. The power windows work good but the power locks do not work all of the time. All of the lights, switches, and guages function properly as well as the factory installed cassette radio. All glass is in good condition and it had the rear sliding window option. The wheels are the 15x8 factory truck rallies with michelin tires. The front tires are at about 70% and the rear is around 30%. The caps and bands are in nice shape. This truck is a southern survivor that hasn't been hacked or hot rodded up. It is a great driver that would be perfect for a cruise in or car show. In my opinion these trucks are the last to have the muscle truck look and feel but still have modern day safety and comfort features. This truck has a clear open title, and it's ready for a new home. I do have it for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early UNLESS the reserve is met, then it will sell here. I have a very reasonable reserve on the truck and I am pretty sure that it will sell. Feel free to call or text me with any questions or concerns that you may have about the truck. 678-283-5891 David On Sep-21-14 at 19:17:03 PDT, seller added the following information: It does have dual tanks. It has a new tranfer switch, both tanks and the switch work properly.
