This auction is for a nice 1969 Mercedes Benz 280sel. It has a beautiful metallic silver color that shines nicely. It also got a brand new Mercedes engine purchased through Mercedes benz which by now has about 1000 miles on it. The transmission was rebuilt little over ago and is 4 speed first generation automatic tranny. The body is very straight and all the lines aligned beautifully. The interior is dark green leather that looks brand new. the dash wood trim is maintained and also looks new and free of cracks. I have spent over 15k just last year on this car but unfortunately do not have time and space to enjoy my car and rather sell it to some one else that enjoys driving it. The suspension, and brake system have been rebuilt and work as good as new. This car handles and brakes like a modern car considering it is a 47 years old vehicle. Overall it runs really good in high way or surface street. The air conditioner is the original air system and I just recently replaced the compressor and is working perfectly. overall this is really a nice car. It has been in Arizona and southern California for the entire time and always garaged. There is no rust anywhere on or under this car. Under carriage is clean and free of rust. Also wheel wells in the trunk as you can see in the photos are clean and free of rust. NO rust what so ever. I love driving this car. It is a classic beauty and while driving it is so well balanced you wont be able to tell that you are driving a 47 years old classic. I always get complement where ever I go. there are not too many of these cars left in driving condition. The tax are paid til next year and have clear title. Buyer is responsible for all shipment costs. Deposit of $2000 is due upon closure of auction and the balance within a week.
