This Corvette was just recently subject to a complete frame up restoration and is is very correct appearing and has absolutely gorgeous cosmetics. The Red Exterior with the White Interior as a combination is very uncommon and is simply stunning. "The current Corvette Owner will also include a professionally framed and beautifully assembled 24" x 36" photo gallery display presentation of this 1964 Corvette. Remarkably it includes the authentic signature of Zora Arkus-Duntov affectionately known as the "Father of the Corvette". Certificate of Authenticity is included. This particular presentation would likely be valued at over $5000.00 alone in a Gallery.....and it contains actually photo's of this Corvette" The Corvette performs beautifully with its period correct 327 V8 and M21 Muncie 4 Speed Transmission with Hurst Shifter. It is extremely responsive, handles tight with its power steering and shifts firm and solid! The Exterior Paint is stunning and was Professionally wet sanded the car for two days and WOW what a shine....gorgeous...no imperfections. The Side Exhaust was just recently added for a cost of $4000.00....no flaws or scratches like many others....perfect condition....with a nice throaty rumble! The Exterior doors and headlight bucket gaps all have an excellent fit. The Exterior Chrome, Stainless and Emblems all have a very nice finish. Exterior Glass is all in excellent shape. The Electric Headlight buckets go up and down effortlessly and the body line fit and gaps also line up nicely. The Headlight Bucket fit is usually a dead giveaway on cars which have had collision damage to the front nose as the fiberglass would shatter and the headlight buckets would never have a decent factory fit. The Chassis is very clean and nicely detailed.....just look at the photos....a very meticulous owner. The Corvette has a nice stance on a very expensive 16" Wheels which were made with a new "Gloss Black Chrome" plating process to give them a deep modern finish. The Convertible Top goes up and down effortlessly and the Mechanical Bows and mechanism have been adjusted and are well maintained. The White Interior is completely fresh and looks brand new ....being the final finishing touch on this very thorough restoration. All new body seals and weatherstripping was replaced on this thorough restoration. The Red Carpet is brand new throughout. The Gauges and Dash Cluster are very tidy. The Radio is correct replacement with modern features....fits exactly in the original location. The Clock....is not operating. The Tach and Speedometer work as they should. The beautifully detailed Engine Compartment shows pride of ownership and maintenance and has most of the correct components and finishes including the proper 7 Finned Corvette valve covers. The 327 roars to life and with the side exhaust on this beast.... it gets all the dogs in the neighborhood barking! When you put your foot into it ...look out...it pulls like a thoroughbred wanting to go full out. The Muncie 4 Speed shifts through all 4 gears effortlessly....smooth and firm and stop well on 4 wheel drum brakes! A overall gorgeous Red Corvette with equally amazing performance and its a pleasure to drive....solid with no rattles! The company president drove this car for a day and remarks at how beautiful she was and how well it performed. The 1964 Model Year C2 Corvette Stingray body style are a very collectable, valuable and desirable year.
