Here is a great 68 Mustang Convertible located in Central NJ. This car is an excellent driver, not a show car. It has been stored in a garage, not exposed to the weather. It is mechanically solid, runs great, has a newer exhaust and tires. The convertible top functions perfectly and has no cracks or tears. Being more than 46 years old there are the expected flaws though none are serious. There has been non-collision repair work on the body with newer paint(not originally red). Yes there is plastic in the quarters, but it was done neatly. There is no cracking or peeling. The car looks great at 10'. Also, paint overspray in the grill area(pictured) and some blemishes in some trim. The interior is in good condition, there is some fading and the carpet could be updated. The dash can use some cosmetic work but is solid with working gauges. Aftermarket seat belts were installed in the rear seat. The heater core was closed off several years ago due to a leak but the car has not seen winter weather in years, so this was not an issue. Passenger door lock mechanism needs repair.
