95 Eldorado with the Northstar Performance Head Studs installed 30,000 miles ago. This car needs work however this car can be driven across country right now. List of what is wrong with car1) A/C does not work. Was working great all summer but the clutch went on compressor. I evacuated the system and recovered 2 lbs of freon. No leaks, just needs a clutch or new compressor.2) Service Suspension display comes up. Code is for left front strut. Must be a sensor however the car rides like a Caddy and see no need to replace- your choice though.3)Traction control display comes up. When I replaced radiator (not due to overheating but had a leak), I disconnected the ABS wire harness from module to clean. One of the tabs broke off and was stuck in connector. I soldered back on and it worked for about 6 months but it must have fell off again. It does not need entire ABS unit, just the module. Held on by I think 4 screws and 1 bolt. 4) Code P039 Torque Converter lockup comes on since I've had car. I tested it as per service manual and it's the solenoid however the transmission shifts perfect and this solenoid only drops the rpms about 100-150. For me, not worth the time and effort to swap out. 5) Drivers headlight has a small holes in lens from a stone hit, still works though. 6) Tires have about 25% tread left7) Front seats have wear but still presentable.8) Had clunk in rear, I replaced the right rear knuckle bushing and noise went away, Now I'm getting noise at left rear. 9) Heated seats work great but the switch for the right seat fell off. Still works, I just use a key to move switch. 10) For the past month, the starter clicks when I turn the key sometimes. I will have to turn key 2 or 3 times then it cranks over fine. Might need a new starter in the future. This happened twice last week but has not happened since. Now for the good- The body is in great shape for an almost 20 year old car. No rust or dents. Still has a nice shine when washed up. Interior looks good and clean despite the front seats. Best part of car is the engine. It runs absolutely perfect. You should never have a head gasket or overheating problem. Had new plugs installed 30,000 miles ago and the car still runs like new. I had to put a new ignition coil on car so at the time I decided to install new ignition wires. I spent almost $2,000 on engine when I had Northstar Performance studs installed 30,000 miles ago. Also at that time, all the engine gasket including mid case were replaced so its not an oil leaker. Any questions just ask. This is just a 3 day auction.
