this car was original 6cyl aut,made in oakland CAthe original paint was dark green, it was sold brand new as an inspection/investigation vehicle for the state of Idaho.the car retired from the state fleet in 1963 and was sold to my very neighbor at a action for $325.it stayed in that family for 46 years.i bought it in 2009 from him for $3000.the car has never been in an accident,and it has always been cared for. i changed the drivetrain to a 1965 buick electra 425,i also had to change the rear end because of the low gears.its from a 1976 nova.runs like a buick!! and loves the freeways.the engine and trans have about 80k miles on itnew timing chain,lifters,camshaft,freeze plugs,carburetor,starter,alt, water pump,coil,fuel pump and all the service parts plugs wires etc.very clean and painted.trans have all new seals.i added alot of chrome trims from parts cars i had,most of it is nomad and olds 88 from that yeari also added 54 buick port holes in the lower 1/4.chrome gas and brake pedal from olds it also have new brakes and tires all way around.i added power steering and power brakes,changed upper and lower ball joints.i put in a new aluminum 4 core radiatornew tail light lenses. wiper blades. wheel bearings.muffler.new door panels,carpet,kick panels and sun visors,headliner is new also,but i put in ,so its a little wavy.all glass is good,the windsheild have been replaced at some point. the few badsthe car was repainted in 69,and the painter never masked of the door jamb seals,it has white paint on it.also it does have paint chips hear and there.its enamel paint and it still buff up and shines if you polish it.the first two feet of exhaust system is a lot of seams and weld.but works goodthe turn signal to left is weak for some reason.right side is good.the radio doesnt work .but the8 track doesall horn parts work,but it doesnt work on the horn ringvery little rust!! below headlight on the driver side,also a strange spot on the right fender (small bubbles see pic)small dent on the rear bumper(see picture) lower part of front door also have a small soft dent from snow i was told.this dent is 45 years old.i think i have a good 8k into it and several hundreds of hoursits not a showcar,but a great driver.
