Vehicle Detail
1975 Honda CB 360T. Running and driving vintage bike. I bought this in June to learn to ride. It did it's job. Now that I have purchased a brand-new bike, I no longer have room this one. I would love to do a full restoration on the bike, but I just don't have the time or, quite frankly, the skills. The good: It starts right up and runs pretty good. It does have the two punch marks on the VIN plate indicating that the bike did receive the cam tensioner service after the recall. I installed a new, sealed gel battery, new spark plugs, fresh oil, new rear tire (I have a new front tire that will go to the buyer, but didn't install it because the front tire that came on the bike is in great shape), new grips, and new front brakes. Everything on the bike works, EXCEPT the light on the speedometer. The bad: It does have a quarter-size ding on the left side of the gas tank (picture). It is a 39-year old bike and shows some age. The chrome looks good in pictures, but up close it definitely needs a good polishing. While it does run, it sometimes runs rough. I don't have the knowledge or expertise to get it running like I think it should. I did the basic maintenance, but it could use an expert to go deeper into it than I am able. The original side covers were cracked, but came with an extra set that were red. I did a quick, close-to-original paint job on them and they look O.K. If I were to restore it, I would definitely get them professionally done with the exact original paint. It will come with the brand-new front tire, a new complete gasket kit, set of new clutch plates, new air filter tube joints, new side cover grommets, a Clymer manual, and a service manual on DVD, along with someother odds and ends, including every original part I replaced. It's still insured and registered, so I may put a few more miles on it, but not many. I have a clear Mass. title, in my name. If you are in my area, send me an email to come see the bike and/or take a test ride. If you have ANY question, please ask. I tried to give the most honest and accurate description I could. I do not want to stick someone with something they are not happy with. I'd sooner find a place to store it and keep it.That said, it's being sold 'as-is'. I will not ship the bike, it must be picked up. BUT, I will work with your shipper and help on my end if you choose to have it shipped.
