I am the original owner of this car and i'm female. I ordered it from Les Stanford and had it drop shipped to me from the factory. This is fairly heavily customized. This black 2008 convertible C6 has 28,800 miles, is not a daily driver, rarely sees the sun because i work at night. She's a garage queen and has been babied since I got it. I love this car deeply..but have 3 cars of my own and am about ready to let go of my prize baby so i can start saving for the C7 next year. I have done a lot to this car but this car has never been raced, tracked, nor dogged in any way. I just wanted her to look and sound awesome! This car has never had any issues, never broke down, all oil changes done at their proper time. The battery has been replaced but that's because i don't drive it much and when it do, it's 11 miles to work and back so the battery didn't last. in November of 2009 a lady side swiped my passenger side ( nothing major, no frame damage and i drove it home then) and since it was damaged, i went ahead and had a complete wide body conversion done on my car (consisting of nose and 4 fenders)...i had to replace that fender anyway so it was the perfect opportunity to do so...The "Grandsport" corvette came out in 2010 but were out at the end of 2009 which is how i was able to buy the "grandsport" body for the car. The grandsport badge is on my fender because you can't remove it because it's inset and came with the fender purchases...i had nothing else to place there so my car says "grandsport" even though it's really not a grandsport...i was not trying to be a poser and i would prefer it wasn't there but it is...., i only wanted a wide body! that was the only way to do so. CARFAX shows severe damage but this is not the case, i drove the car home after the right side clip...other person was in stopped position on side of the road and decided to pull back into the lane without clearing herself as i was traveling in the slow lane resulting in a clip to my right side which was all repaired/repainted when wide body was done. I will be more than happy to take this car to the local dealer and have a full, in depth inspection done to ensure you are content about the car's condition and state. No worries! This was years ago so the paint is no longer perfect, please don't expect the perfect paint job...there are some tiny rock dots on the wide rear fenders....Basically overall great condition, no deep noticeable scratches or anything..nothing to speak of.... Then came wheel /tire upgrades to fit with the wide body. WCC (asanti) 3 piece forged 946's were my choice, deep dish, black/rivits/chrome..i love them. Nitto Invo tires as well. (those rims are about 5k alone) 19s/20s Then came the throaty rumble....i love the rumble so i bought B&B fusions and had them installed. WHAT AN AWESOME SOUND! My car is equipped with NPP and i had a "mild to wild" switch installed meaning my car has a remote to turn off the deep throaty sound when you choose to...it's nice when i come home late to make it more quiet for the neighbors. :)Then i had the Z06 brakes/rotors installed (i believe the same are on the actual Grandsport) I had the calipers painted red as well. I have a Z06 rear spoiler and ZR1 style side skirting too. This car also has custom vinyl stripes in red and silver, i designed them and had a vinyl guy make them for me...i don't expect that everyone will love my taste so they can be removed and there should be no fading as the car rarely sees the sun. The red/black two tone interior is mint, no damage, no stains/spills as i never ate nor drank in my car. I had a custom two tone red /black steering wheel cover made from a company out of california..they sent samples for me to perfectly match the leather and the grip is great and the thickness is perfect...much better than the standard wheel..My car is equipped with the F55 magnetic ride control option which gives you the option of tour or sport modes....this car is the Loaded 3LT package...with power top! I have had the top down less than 5 times as i never ride with it down. It's in mint perfect condition. I have also upgraded the Brake lights with LED's which are MUCH brighter and better..This car is basically a 2008 grandsport....lol I have basically done everything you can do and then some..:) This is a beautiful car, you'll not have to do a thing to it....she's low miles too. Located in South Alabama- the car will come with a few extras...i.e...i have the nylon bra to help with bugs, i have the windscreen in case someone wants the top down...and a few more items. Manual, folders, every thing done is documented...as i am the only owner and have loved and babied this car since day one..Sorry this is so long but what can i say?
