Vehicle Detail

I traded this for a job I did was going to fix it , after doing some research I found it involves a little more than I thought, I didn't try starting it, I was told that could cause damage , I guess these old timers just use a six volt battery , it seems to be pretty much all there , both rear window and windshield are not broken , passenger side window is broken ,driver side window is missing but I think the one I found in the back is the right 1, came with the original key no title for it, I took a pic of the number just behind the radiator on the cross member pic #9 I was told that should be the vin.# I left 1 pic left to add if multiple people ask for same pic I'll add that shot. Has a flat head v-8 as you can see in pic's looks to all be there, any questions I will do my best to answer I really don't know allot about vehicles of this era. hopefully the pictures tell the majority of what you need to know. This is for pick up only so you will need a way to transport it yourself, Thanks for checkin it out. I started the auction at 99 cents good luck!! On Aug-31-14 at 14:38:59 PDT, seller added the following information: Just added a few more photo's , and just so you know this was stored inside since 1974 , took a shot behind the seat , 1 of the sway arm and tie rod , the door handles, both sides are in the same shape ,floor boards the key, and another of the rear end, the frame looks pretty mint and very true, like I said anything you guy's wanna see just let me know. Even the rear view mirror is st attached , again Thanks for checkin it out. The seat is pretty much toast but its there. On Sep-01-14 at 17:26:48 PDT, seller added the following information: I picked up 6 volt battery today changed the oil filled the radiator it had been drained for storage and well the motor does turn over , the clutch pushes in but transmission seams seized. On Sep-02-14 at 11:35:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Just wanted to clarify that getting it to turn over was not as simple as just turning the key and hitting the start button. On the box marked regulator their was a wire that was disconnected I touched that to the small center wire between the neg and positive wire , it does turn over no strange or ominous sounds come from it I'm not going to try to start it the fuel lines appear to have been disconnected and bled as well as the radiator before it was stored, like I said I don't know very much about vehicles of this era. Transmission does seem to be seized as I stated earlier, the 6 volt battery I just purchased I'll throw in the deal it is included , I have know use for it , this was owned by an old farmer he did Jerry rig things so I'm not sure if everything is where it ought to be but most of the parts seem to be their. Maybe even some extras I have no idea it does appear to have 2 horns? The one mounted on the driver side fender wall and one between the grill and radiator. It will definitely be a project but sure is a cool old truck .Thanks and good luck. Oh yeah some guy e-mailed me and said that's not the vin# I spent about 2 hours of looking online, under the truck just to find out it seem as though it can be in many different locations one guy e-mailed me said its on the inside of the glove box compartment door as you can see that's clearly missing, Also there is a tag you can see in the pics where stamped in yellow is April 13th or 18th 1948 to the left of that is a metal tag that has a series of numbers a set of 12 I think , I haven't really had any questions just statements about theory's of what year it is whether or not it was a v-8 or v-6 originally I have no idea ! and of course the guys who want to just come buy it right now just so you know that's not happening it goes till the end. I can't tell ya any more because I just don't know all I can say is what ya see is what your getting. A COOL OLD TRUCK THAT'S MOSTLY THERE!!
