Up for your consideration is this 1998 Chevy Cavalier Z24 Convertible. I bought the car BRAND NEW in 1998 from Jack Phelan Chevrolet in Lyons, IL and have driven it an average of just over 4,000 miles per year for a total of 68,000 miles! The car runs and drives great, and I have done a all required maintenance over the years including four brand NEW General Tires, new battery, muffler, water pump, windshield wiper motor, etc. Overall this car is in good shape but it's not perfect. The body and interior have general wear that you would expect on a 16 year old car. The air bag light is on and the convertible top may or may not work, I have not tried it recently in fear that if it goes down I might not be able to put it back up. The good news is that the car is priced cheap enough that you could buy it and spend a few bucks on it if you have to and still be in it right. There aren't many good cars on ebay these days that are being sold by their original owners, what you have now is "Jipper-Joe's" out there flipping cars back and forth.
