Vehicle Detail
Be aware, this is a typical barn find condition car that needs total restoration. However, with a bit more tinkering, it can be street legal. It does start and run. It has been up and down the driveway a few times. We put new tires and tubes on it; new fan belt and fan, fuel gauge and battery. It will come with a second set of spark plugs, extra trim and a brand new cover. There is also the wiring harness and turn signals ready to install. Most all parts were purchased from Mac's. Included is the official ford emblem that fell of the radiator. The radiator is good as is most every thing. There is no current registration. It has been out of Calif. DMV since 1985. I have the 85 pink slip. All the lucky buyer gets is a bill of sale, my heartfelt thanks and maybe a local adult beverage while we watch you load it up on your trailer. We do not ship or arrange for it. The car will be ready for your pick up when you get here. Did I mention we are in Santa Rosa, Calif. THE wine country of Calif.? Feel free to ask any reasonable question that you have. You could ask more that one if need be. This is a cash sale. Please no rubber checks, cashier check scam or shares of Nigerian estates. If I can figure out how to do PayPal I will accept that. But I really like the green stuff with dead presidents pictures or former Post Master general person. On Aug-30-14 at 11:56:38 PDT, seller added the following information: For those that were concerned and eagerly awaiting more information; as of 11:26ap PDT The Bill (the car's name of course) sprung to life and idled very well for several minutes. This came at much pondering the correct way for the fuel lever to be pointing in order to supply gas to the engine! Starts WAY easier if it is in the proper position! I am not sure if this is with the rule, I am sure Ebay will correct me but I am pleased in the way the bidding has gone, since it is close to the reserve, I will now accept the highest bid at close of auction date and time. I do have a couple more pictures is you need them emailed to you but they don't really add to the others. Thank you all for your interest. M
