This is a VERY nice Rust Free Fiat 850 Spider. I had one just like it when I was in my 20s and loved it! I have owned over 50 cars over the years and my 850 Spider was the most fun car I have ever had. I got rid of it only after the seats fell through the floor. I had been searching for years for a clean body car. Several years ago I found this one and started the restoration process. The body is extremely solid and floor is perfect. I have been working on the car for 2 years then several months ago I became ill and wil not be able to finish the car. Just when all the hard stuff is done to the car and it's ready to finish it up, I have a stoke! I am heartbroken. I have put off selling the car for 3 months hoping I would get better but unfortunately that does't seem to be going to happen. Please look at the pictures and you will see just how nice this 850 Spider is. I have new seats for it and 3 seat shells. I have a brand new top for it. I have all new carpet for it. The rest of the interior has already been restored (see Pictures). I also have a number of spare parts for it. Parts are plentiful and cheap. There are hundreds of parts available on e-bay. I will also give you names of several parts suppliers located in the US. The engine has very good compression and the carb was just rebuilt. There are all new wires, points and plugs. But the engine lost spark. I suspect the resistor went bad. Here is what the Spider needs to finish. New carpet needs installed. new covers put on seats and seats bolted in. Top installed (this is very easy). The brakes need bled from sitting so long. The engine needs spark. There may be a few other minor issues but very few. The tires are very good, the brake pads are new. A couple of week ends and this car can be on the road. The NADA book on this car is as follows Average Retail $7,175. High Retail $13,600. With a few weekends this car can be in the High Retail condition. A clean body and all the new parts will make this Fiat a very rare find. I have listed the car at NO RESERVE and put the starting price at less than what the new parts cost for the car. Someone will get a great deal. I want someone to finish the car and find out how much fun these 850 Spiders are. PLEASE realize the car is sold as is where is. Do not bid untill after you get your wife's permission, or untill you make sure you have the full purchase price available now. If you want to play games please go somewhere else! There is a $500 deposit due with in 48 hours and the balance due at or before pick up or 10 days which ever is sooner. Over the years I have sold a number of vehicles on e-bay and everyone has left positive feedback. My son-in-law may be able to deliver the Fiat with in 500 miles for a reasonable cost.
