Vehicle Detail
There's a reason Jeepers wave at each other on the road. They know the secret: Jeeps are so much fun to drive! This is a dark blue 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0 liter, 6-cylinder engine with a manual 5-speed transmission. This 4-liter engine is far superior to the smaller 2-liter version. Very responsive and accelerates very fast. The convertible top is quick and easy to take down and put up -- or -- just take off the doors and side panels for a shady ride in the wind. This vehicle is great for commuting or driving up the coast along highway 1. To drive off-road or on snow, simply engage the 4-Wheel Drive by pulling a hand lever while driving (no need to get out and lock the hubs). All Terrain tires have deep tread. Two tires have only 4000 miles on them. Loaded with extra goodies, including heavy-duty front grill bars, front and rear blinker protective grills, heavy-duty running boards, custom wheels, locking gas cap cover, and spare tire cover. Stereo is less than a year old and has detachable faceplate. Convertible top was replaced a few years ago and is in very good condition. Rear side and back windows are tinted. On Aug-28-14 at 14:55:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I failed to mention that the two aftermarket lights mounted up front are inop. I don't know if they work as they were there when I bought the Jeep and there doesn't appear to be any switch to turn them on. Any handy person should be able to easily troubleshoot this (could be as simple as connecting two wires). Apologies for not mentioning this earlier. I honestly forgot about them until I just noticed them in the photos.
