Up for auction is a 1965 Ford Mustang that I bought several years ago to restore. I started buying the parts I needed to repair it but I recently bought another running Mustang and have decided to sell this one. It is a 289 3 speed manual car. It has an Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb. Was upgraded to a Duraspark ignition. Has traction bars on the rear. The engine will run and car can be moved around. It has been sitting in my garage for about 2 years. The gas tank needs replacing. It has had the fuel line, brakes and brake lines replaced before I bought it. It will need a radiator. The body needs rust repair in the normal Mustang places. Floors, rear quarters and frame rails need patching. Worst rust seems to be on driver side. The front fenders will need work or replacing. Drivers side rocker panel rusty. All glass is good. The hood, trunk lid and roof are straight. I have a lot of new parts that will go with the car. Both rear quarter skins, core support with cross member, all 4 fender aprons, front frame rail patches, battery tray kit, both bumpers with bolt kit, door sill plates with screw kit, driver side strut bracket and shock tower stiffeners. I have replaced the motor mounts, exhaust donut gaskets, oil pan gasket, solenoid, battery cables and fuel pump. Over $900 in new parts alone. ****Since the last time I listed this car I have done the following. Cleaned and adjusted carb. Reset timing. Replaced the plugs, plug wires, rotor and distributor cap. The engine runs good. The oil and filter have been changed. Fresh antifreeze.**** The interior is rough. Passenger seat and rear seat are good. Has Pony seat covers. Carpet is gone, took it out to see floors. This is a project car for restoration or a start to a race car. THE CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY.
