I have to sell because I am a school teacher on a strict budget and have just decided to go electric. I've taken delivery of my new car and decided I am not driving the Boxster enough to keep it and let it suffer. Here are the highlights. Near flawless body, new water pump, recent oil change, tiptronic, good rubber, excellent top with clear rear window, throaty sport exhaust, side graphics. Graphics recently applied can easily be removed. Mileage is 96,366 and best of all its a three owner PCA car and the first owner is available. Enough docs available to justify a your confidence. Pre-smogged for Ca. Title in hand. THIS IS A VERY NICE CAR. NO RISK, NO DISAPPOINTMENTs. Excellent interior with virtually no bolster damage. Runs great. Clear rear window. Worst: Chip on one small plastic lense. Two chicken legs on rear deck. Dent doc says $40 if you want to even bother. Honestly, can't find anything else to discuss. Service: 92315 March 2014 including Mobil 1 and all fluids. Water Pump. Same mileage and date and documented. Documentation: Top mechanism gears on same date. Note: This top gears are a 100% failure rate on early Boxsters. Do not buy a car on which this failure has not yet occured or been repaired. Tires: I hate giving opinions on tires so my conservative guess is they have 5000 to 10000 left. That is easily a year or two for me. Smog: Certificate already secured and filed. My reg expires 8/24 and I am hoping to sell before then to save the expense of renewal. Need now: Absolutely nothing unless the lense and rear deck are compelling. To me they aren't. Unhappy: I am most discerning. I would be happy to unwrap this car as a sight unseen purchase and am confident you will be as well. Delivery: Under certain circumstances and for considerations the car could be delivered as far as the east coast if destination not too far above hwy 40. Graphics: Were only applied recently so could not have yet caused paint fade. Easily removed with hair dryer and fingernail.Work: Yes, everything works except the ejection seat and the passenger hand brake. I had them removed.Loud: I like to call it mildly macho. It sounds sexy without being loud, a drone or irritant and does not interfere with music when the top is down. More questions? All invited.
