This car was featured on the show Counting Cars. June 2013, season 2, episode 13. A California three owner car. It was stored in a garage by the second owner starting in 1980 until being discovered in 2012 by it's current owners. It was then given a frame on restoration by Counts Kustoms. Contrary to the what the show indicates. This is a NON matching number car. The motor is 1962 - 327 and not a corvette block. The trans is the original. VIN is stamped on it. The car has 55k original miles. The resto left intact many of the original parts that were still in excellent condition namely the interior and undercarriage. The car was completely stripped and painted it's original color of Daytona Blue. All new glass and seals. Engine and trans were pulled and rebuilt. Engine compartment and undercarriage were freshened as they were very good to start with. Brakes were completely rebuilt as was the exhaust. Original radio was rebuilt as well. We have approx $75k in receipts and photos of the resto. All work was done to a high standard and the paint is exceptional .
