Thank you for looking at my Mercedes Benz CLK55 AMG. This sports coupe is nearly showroom condition and it's the best driving car that I have ever been in. I was able to drive it occasionally for my work and it was mostly highway miles. I am being forced into a company car and will have very limited opportunities to drive a personal vehicle. This Mercedes has always been stored in the winter and has never seen snow or salt. I just don't want to see it sit in the garage the rest of the year as well. The 2001 CLK55 was the fastest production car that Mercedes ever sold in the US. The 5.5L 24 valve SMPI aluminum alloy V8 engine produces 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 170mph. Even with all of that power I have been getting 26mpg on the highway. This Mercedes is beautifully appointed and, with such low mileage and comprehensive maintenance, it still drives and handles like new. I have used Mobil 1 0W40 full synthetic oil, K&N filters, and only Mercedes approved fluids. Schedule B maintenance was just completed and the battery was recently replaced. This Mercedes comes with your choice of wheels. The AMG 18" wheels are offset with a 1" wider series in the back. These are an upgrade from the standard 17" monoblock wheels that normally come with this vehicle and the tires have good tread remaining. As a second choice I am offering the fairly new BBS wheels with brand new Goodyear Eagle GT tires. Please see the pictures and decide which set you want to drive away on. The A/C and everything else works on this Mercedes and there are no leaks or squeaks. It is ready to be driven anywhere across the country. There is absolutely zero rust on this car, no dings or dents, and hardly a mark anywhere. The title is clear and this Mercedes has never been in an accident of any kind. This CLK55 is fully loaded with every option available at the time. It is also a special edition with two tone Armani hand stitched leather interior. Even though I saw that there is another with this interior listed on ebay, these are rare. I believe that there were only 100-200 like these produced in 2001. Another thing that I have appreciated about this era of Mercedes was that they were the last of the uncomplicated models built. This CLK has all the bells and whistles but it is not over designed with too many conflicting sensor signals and CAN bus errors that can create a lot of time in the shop. Most of the options are listed below or elsewhere in this listing. However, I want to mention a few of them that are a little unique or worthy of some explanation. The heated power front seats also have pneumatic controls and can be set to form fit almost any size or shape driver or passenger. The large screen navigation includes the stereo, CD, and telephone control and can also be operated by controls on the steering wheel. There's a separate small screen just above the steering wheel to monitor a separate function or to check various statuses on the computer. The Xenon HID headlights and fog lights really light up the road but there are also rear fog lights to help other drivers see you in adverse weather conditions. This coupe also comes with headlight washers, a power rear sunshade, racing pedals, and an SOS call out button. I have included all of the manuals as well as two key FOBs and one valet key. The key FOBs also have a line of sight feature which allows you to remotely vent the windows and sunroof. The front indicator light covers have been replaced with silver body-colored covers, but I am including the original covers in case you want to switch back. I am also including a custom car cover as shown in the pictures. This CLK55 was also originally owned by a famous athlete. I have had a lot of questions about the condition of the vehicle, including questions about door dings, scratches, etc. This vehicle is 10/10 inside and out. There is no rust, no door dings, no tears or cracks in the seats, no problems with the headliner, dashboard, carpet, or other. There is one very small hairline scratch on the trunk that is hardly noticeable and can easily be touched up.
