1958 Porsche 356 Coupe, chassis number 103240. It is an incomplete car in need of a restoration. It was rusty, but pretty straight without visible accident damage. The nose and rear are solid, and the fenders and quarter panels are as well without a lot of metal work needed. Some substandard rust work was done and the car was sold before completion. Some of this work will have to be redone. There is a lot of new metal in the car and I am sure a good bit of it can be used with some work. While it was in storage, a transmission was located and rebuilt by a factory trained specialist. Nice kink free hood with no rust perforation. Doors are pretty solid. Not pictured but included are the decklid, the rear glass, and front and rear window deco trim. The right font wheel is sitting at an odd angle as there is an issue with one of the control arms or the torsion bar. There is no engine but we have several options available including a 912 case owned by the seller. We also have an extensive inventory of original parts to help complete the car. I will be adding pictures and revising the listing. The car is available for inspection by appointment in Fairfax, Virginia, and we can recommend a qualified third party to inspect the car if needed.
