Vehicle Detail

This listing is for a very nice 1987 Honda Rebel CMX250C with 10555 miles. . This style of the Rebel 250 was introduced in 1985 and was produced from 1985 through 1987. Honda also produced the Rebel 450 during years 1986 and 1987. Controversy with Harley Davidson was one of the reasons for discontinuing both models after 1987. Harley thought it infringed on the Harley look and sound. Harley lost their suite. Whether this happened or not adds to the mystique and charm of this motorcycle.Honda resumed production of the Rebel 250 in 1996 and continues to produce them to this day. However, many believe that the earlier 80’s models are the most desirable because of their distinctive look and history. The Rebel 450 was never resurrected and in time may become a collector’s item This bike is ideal for the new rider because of its lower stance, allowing just about any rider to have both feet flat on the ground while stopped. It is easy to ride and maneuver. Most training facilities use the Honda Rebel as their training vehicle. This is also a great bike to take your states motorcycle road test. This Rebel is black in color with new tires front and rear, new 520 O-ring 108L Gold chain, new battery, tool kit, owners manual, complete carburetor cleaning and tune-up, great brakes, completely detailed, rust free and is ready to ride. This bike is all original with the exception of the front tire which is one size larger to provide greater stability and a safer ride. This is an opportunity to experience motorcycle riding with little or no cost to you. If you decide that riding is not for you, you can always sell the bike for what you paid for it. Unlike buying a new bike and losing $500 - $1000 just by taking delivery. If riding is for you, and in time decide to upgrade to a larger bike, you should have no trouble selling this bike for the purchased price. So with the rest of the summer ahead, what have you got to lose?
