1984 Mercedes Benz 300D. I drove this car to work eighty miles a day for the last eight years. I bought the car with a faulty odometer that read approx. 260K miles. I repaired the odometer and replaced the instrument cluster bezel and lens. The clock keeps amazing time. The Air Conditioning compressor is fairly new, the receiver/dryer and expansion valve are new and the system is charged with R-22 and is fully functional. The vacuum system that operates the HVAC and the locking system still works and has been repaired now and then over the years. The vacuum pump on the engine was disabled. The source of all vacuum is now a Volvo electric pump which functions everything perfectly. I did run filtered WVO for a short time a while back. The rear bumper molding was reattached with new mounts and the Trunk emblem was replaced. There is a modern Sony Stereo system installed with fairly new speakers. It has Aux. and USB inputs as well as reads CD's and MP3 files. Inspection runs out 4/15. The car runs and drives good.
