NO RESERVE Auction Treat yourself to a true Italian Ferragosto (August 15) Holiday experienceFor Sale is our precious Jolly Green Triumph, or simply called Jolly. She has only driven 1400 miles since her 6 year cosmetic restoration completed in 2011. Bodywork and paint where both done in a Ravenna, Italy, just south of Venice. This is where we witnessed several Mille Miglia rallies-incorporating the theme into Jolly’s aesthetical design. We are the second owners. The first was a school teacher who drove her off the Triumph dealership lot in southern Illinois in 1974. Jolly behaves well on the road, starts first time whether hot or cold and the sweet hum of the 6 cylinder engine matches no other car on the road. Painstakingly detailed with unique parts such asRare Italian only clear Lucas front turn lenses Rare French only amber reverse lenses Mota Lita Steering wheelRare AMCO windscreen wind wingsLucas Flamethrower fog/driving lamp replicas on separate relay system. Both fog and driving bulbs included. Moss glass lens red rear fog lightStainless Steel Fender beading TR4 working Jaeger instruments and dash paddingCustom African Rosewood dash face made in Modena Italy (the city of Balsamic vinegar & Ferrari) Antique passenger’s side map light, switched separatelyTR4 Occasional Rear SeatRecently replaced parts are Moss Alternator Flexible fuel lines Zenith Stromberg Dual-Carb seals and gaskets NOS Armstrong front shock absorbersOriginal British Leyland/Bendix AM-FM radio in working condition. Men: If you need a little bit of help discussing this car with your significant other please see some notes below.Feminine Touch: Jolly has the rare French Michelin Red Line X tires mounted. The red lines are turned inward as my wife did not like the BRG/Red combination. She also used some of her interior design skills choosing many of the interior finish details as well the BRG color (of course). The maplight was installed so she could find things in her purse at night. Oh, and the heater works great too guys. Jolly is insured with American Collector’s Insurance for $30,000. We have much more than that invested in her. We hate to sell this gem of a Triumph but my wife needs a handicap adapted vehicle so Jolly must go.Only US Bank’s certified check accepted as payment. Wire Transfer from Overseas bidders considered. Jolly has a clear Ohio title. I will have her serviced prior to shipping to the new owner. Overseas/International Bidders: I will help with loading Jolly onto your transport vehicle but do not provide shipping quotes. Ask Questions-Get Answers-Feel Comfortable about bidding. PLEASE NOTE: JOLLY IS ADVERTISED ELSEWHERE AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION EARLY. On Aug-15-14 at 08:32:23 PDT, seller added the following information: I would like to add that Jolly is a rust free car. The only area that had rust, found at the body shop, was the rear portion of the passenger side rocker panel which was replaced (both inner and outer) with new pieces. The frame was inspected and found to be in excellent shape and still is. The underside and wheel wells of the car was undercoated for sound deadening purposes. The cost of the body and paintwork was $10k alone. On Aug-16-14 at 11:38:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Note to Bidders/Watchers-I will not be able to answer any more questions after today as I will not be available until after the close of this auction. Should you have any questions, send them today and I will do my best to answer them tonight. Here are some answers to various FAQ's.Car location: Aurora, Colorado zip 80016 Why Registered in Ohio? I originally registered Jolly in Ohio as that's where I'm from. Ohio DMV offered me Historical Plates for $10 until 2050. Didn't see the need to convert to Colorado plates until after 2050. Numbers Matching Car: Yes. I have the BMHT Certificate and it goes with the car.Drivetrain: All original, never rebuilt or even out of the car.For you who have concerns about the mileage on this car, please consider the following information.
