Volvo 760 4 cylinder B230FT Turbo Sedan in beautiful original condition for those who appreciate Volvo quality and features the mark is known for. This was the Volvo "flagship" back in the day and was intended to compete with Mercedes and BMW for the European sport sedan segment. This car is in an exceptional condition, a state in which cars of this vintage are becoming impossible to find: everything is original down to the stereo system and wheels. Just take a look at the Autocheck report--they don't come better than that! Volvo 240 of this vintage are bringing big prices these days when they are no half the cars 760 are. Although the drivetrain and many parts are shared, the 760 is better all around. The car was owned by one elderly Portland Oregon resident for all its life, purchased and serviced by the local Volvo dealer. Original title is present showing ownership from day one. This car is "fresh"! By that I mean even the steering wheel is unworn and has its original texture, as if barely touched. The leather seats, front and back are flawless with the leather showing no signs of drying or unstiching anywhere. All headrests are present and in excellent shape. Both seats are powered and heated and work as they were intended. All power/luxury features work perfectly without glitches or problems; A/C is ice cold, heater is great. Power windows, mirrors, cruise control, all great. Tilt steering wheel-very rare feature in Volvos of that era.Power sunroof operates flawlessly. Headliner is original and is starting to sag in the back which is the only flaw present in the car that I could find. The car shows excellent care and appearance with beautiful shiny paint and no dents or scrapes. Not perfect, of course, some minor paint scratches as it should be expected in a 25 year car but much better than average for a car even a couple of years old. Glass is perfect, no chips anywhere including the windshield. All trim is present and in good condition with no fading or discoloration. Carpets are like new. Never smoked in, no pets, no odors of any kind. Volvo safety throughout with airbag, ABS brakes on all four wheels, safety bars in the doors, etc. Tires are a matching set and with 90% tread left, wheels are the original 760 15 inch Volvo alloys in fantastic shape. Mechanically this car is excellent! Shows great care and Volvo parts such as filters, battery, spark plugs, etc. are present throughout--Volvo battery even! I can't remember when I saw one of those in a car of this age. Recent timing belt change, water pump, new oil, transmission service, power steering service, exhaust manifold gaskets, etc. Brake pads are over 90%! Needless to say this Volvo runs, drives, stops and handles as good as new! No leaks of fluids of any kind, not a trace of smoke or inordinate noises--it passed the Oregon emissions inspection with flying colors! All books and manuals are present, two high security keys are included. The spare has never been on the ground, all tools are accounted for, including the pair of never used white Volvo gloves! This is a beautiful car in a condition which makes it a rare find, and should be appreciated by a Volvo enthusiast looking for a time capsule from the years when Volvos were, well, Volvos. This is not a car for the person just looking for the cheapest set of wheels and a Volvo just happened to be the vehicle that popped up.
