Would you like to buy a brand new 1993 RX-7 straight out of the showroom? Well, you can't, but this is pretty close. I bought this 1993 Touring Model on eBay in 2002 when it had only about 8,000 miles, just because I've always had a thing for RX-7s. It was a pet car, not a daily driver. In the 12 years since then I've put on less than 500 gentle miles a year, driving just enough to keep it healthy. First, the negatives, not many: Odometer/speedometer was replaced at about 11,500 miles by a dealership in 2006. Less than 1,400 miles have been put on the car in the eight years since then. The black plastic interior parts came with a matte coating that is now coming off. I've found that the coating can be removed with a combination of rubbing alcohol and elbow grease, leaving a smooth, glossy finish. You can see in the pictures where I've done this to about half of the parts. The original radio stopped working so I paid a bunch of money for a fancy Sony sound system. That worked for a while but now, not so much. It turns on and off but otherwise the buttons don't work. I kept all of the original Alpine/Bose parts if you want them. There is a small, shallow dent in the driver's door. I took a picture but it is so mild that it doesn't show up well. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
