Up for your consideration is a well kept, garage kept 66' ford short wheel base f100. This truck was purchased new on January 29-1966 from Adcock Motors in Adairsville Georgia by a Mr. Robert R. He owned the vehicle for many years untill passing it down to Mr. Rodgers who is the last registered owner on this vehicle. This truck is literally a 2 owner truck and a great well kept survivor. It spent its whole life in North west Georgia only and never left the state. The truck shows 91,xxx original documented miles on the odometer. It had a budget repaint many years ago and now is showing some age. The body of the truck is in absolute solid condition. I have yet to find any rust through holes anywhere on the exterior body of the truck. Really nice bed floor. Perfect rust free floor pans,rockers, cab mounts, inner fenders, hood,doors,fenders, etc... All in all you would have to look long and hard to find a good solid body like this one. The original interior shows very well considering the age. Really nice floor mat and padded dash pad option. The seat will need recovering due to the typical wear on the driver side. All the glass is original and in great shape. The gauge cluster is crystal clear and 100 percent fully functional. Wipers,headlights, interior light, brake light , etc are all in working order as they should be. This truck has has a complete brake overhaul consisting of hoses,brake lines, master cylinder, wheel cylinders etc... Also brand new carburetor, fuel pump, and gas tank cleaned and checked. Under the hood sports it original 6 cylinder engine and manual 3 speed transmission. Starts every time and runs perfectly. The transmission shifts out great going down the road. Stops and steers incredibly well !! This truck is just a great solid original driver needing nothing really mechanically. Mostly just cosmetic if you choose to make it into a show type vehicle. Or cruise as Is !! This is an amazing find for one of these trucks in its original condition.
