1969 JAGUAR E-TYPE COUPE (not 2 plus 2). Here is a very good Jaguar that can be bought for a reasonable price...a low reserve has been set. Excellent engine, good 4 speed and clutch. Body of car is sound; no evidence of it ever having been hit but has had typical minor rust issues which seem to have been adequately corrected. New paint is original color (Regency Red) in base/clear coat that needs touch-up and further buffing to be good (It is currently a 20 foot paint job). New carpets, new door panels, new headliner and dash cover have been installed. Nearly all weatherstriping and rubber mouldings are new. Gauges are clear and easy to read. Engine bay has all of its splash shields. Exhaust has NOS Monza mufflers. Has new radiator fans, new windshield blades and arms. Luggage area is reconditioned. Has a cassett radio in a renewed console. I have replaced all flexible brake hoses and cleaned calipers; however I am still working on a sticking rear brake. Some of the gauges and lights are not yet working, but I hope to have them going soon (car was stored for many years). Motif bar and rear overriders need to be rechromed. An extra small diameter steering wheel made just for Jags (with the slide feature ) goes with the car ( really enhances driving and access and can be easily swapped in and out... see it in one of pics). Tires are red-lines but are old and should not be driven fast. This is really a very complete car and you will not need to be chasing after missing parts (now very hard to find).
