The Pioneer AM/FM stereo CD unit remains in the center stack and sounds decent, front speakers are aged but still work, I have the NOS speaker box carpet with speakers for the back never used ready to hook up. This is the car's original, numbers-matching mill and given the low mileage, it has never needed major internal work, so it doesn't smoke and runs quite well. A L48 350cu in. Kit from Edelbrock was installed included the carb, manifold and distributor (no more points to deal with) The engine bay looks tidy and age-appropriate, with a stock air cleaner up top, while original cast iron exhaust manifolds feed a free-flowing dual system with nice sounding mufflers. A TH350 3-speed automatic always seems to be in the right gear for maximum thrust, positive into park and into gear, shifts gears smooth. The Corvette suspension that feels competent but doesn't beat you up. Classic Rally wheels are wrapped in Cooper Cobra radials at all four corners.
