There were only 4,118 Ford Mustang California Special Editions built in 1968. We just purchased this Mustang California Special from the older previous Montana owner and as you can clearly see in the pictures this was his pride and joy for sure !! It still retains its 1968 Mustang owner's manual and it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Ford driver's door mounted data plate, both of which are shown in pictures below. This car is sound and in WONDERFUL shape and is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Montana - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western car and NEVER fails to turn heads. In my opinion your not going to find much nicer ORIGINAL FLOORS than the ones on this car !! This car shows and runs very well. If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself. You won't be disappointed !! THIS IS A QAULITY CAR FOR SURE !! At the heart of this Mustang is a VERY STRONG - "GROUND POUNDING" - RECENTLY PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT - 302 CID V8 Motor in it and running VERY WELL. This HEALTHY !! 302 is equipped with a Holley Performance Double-Pump 4 barrel carb with elecric choke, Edelbrock Performer 4 Barrel aluminum intake manifold, Custom chrome "302 High Performance" scripted valve covers, Hooker High-Flow custom exhaust headers and an Edelbrock performance air cleaner. When you lay the hammer down on this BEAST your friends will surely hear the roar from the - "THROATY" - Hooker High-Flow headers AND NEARLY NEW stainless steel true-dual exhaust system with dual chrome tips !! The engine is backed by the SMOOTH - Code "W" - Cruise-O-Matic C-4 three speed automatic transmission that also functions very well. The odometer reads 76,498 but true miles are unknown. Just look at this thing though !! This car was an original from the factory air conditioned car but everything from the firewall forward for the air conditioning system has been removed and we don't have the parts.
