You are bidding on one VERY rare truck. This is a 2000 Ford F450 Crewcab XL with the DEPENDABLE 7.3 liter powerstroke turbo diesel and automatic overdrive transmission. YES, THIS TRUCK HAS ONLY 74,520 GOVERNMENT OWNED AND SERVICED MILES ON IT! The truck was owned by a local small suburb here in the Dallas, Texas area it's entire life. THIS TRUCK HAS ABSOLUTELY NO RUST OR BODY DAMAGE ON IT. Carfax verifies the clean title and actual mileage on this one (click the CARFAX emblem below the pictures to see the entire report for free).PLEASE NOTE! YOU CAN SEE THE ONE OBVIOUS MISTAKE ON CARFAX, WHERE SOMEONE ENTERED A 2 INSTEAD OF A 3. I am trying to get it corrected on Carfax, but that's just about impossible. PLEASE LOOK AT THE 100 PICTURES I HAVE POSTED OF THIS TRUCK. The cab is in great shape. There are a few very minor rock chips and scratches if you hunt for them, but that's it. The bed is a VERY well built heavy all metal unit. We had the entire bed repainted with industrial strength coating. It won't just flake and chip off like regular car paint. I do have the keys to all the locks on the bed and they all work! The rear tires have about 30-40% tread left on them. They are wearing smoothly. The front tires are BRAND NEW. They are the 19.5 inch tires on this truck. The interior of the truck is just as nice as the exterior! There are no tears in the rubber flooring or vinyl bench seats. The truck shows VERY little wear inside. I have purchased over a dozen trucks from this city of the years because of how nice they take care of them. They said the truck was used often, but it's average trip was less than 5 miles away. This truck appears to have NOT been smoked in.
I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed. THIS TRUCK HAS NO LEAKS, NO DRIPS AND DOES NOT SMOKE! IT CRANKS UP IN THE MORNING WITH NO TROUBLE AND HAS VIRTUALLY NO BLOW-BY ( I personally will NEVER say a 7.3 liter diesel has no blow-by, they all do if you stare long enough ) The transmission shifts out solidly and smoothly. There are NO wobbles or shakes at 70 mph on the freeway. The truck was also checked out and aligned by a front-end shop. They replaced 2 tie rods and did an alignment. Everything else is in great shape. This truck is ready to be driven anywhere and be put to work! It is probably the nicest one like it for sale in the country. If you are reading this ad, you probably agree that you can't go out and buy a better truck today for any amount of money. The pictures of the underneath show you the normal road dust and the fact that there is NO RUST. All the electronic equipment works like new. This includes the traffic control system and strobe lights. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heater warm and toasty. There are just no known problems with this vehicle.
