This is a 1933 Chevrolet Master Deluxe (Eagle) Sedan. It was totally restored inside and out in 1979 when a modern drive train was installed making it a good useable street car. A full description of the restoration appears in the August 1980 edition of Street Rodder Magazine (a copy is included with the car). Since 1979 it has always been garaged, used sparingly and meticulously maintained. In 1996 a stock crate Chevrolet 350 engine was installed together with a rebuilt THM 400 transmission. It has gone about 15,000 miles since ’79. This is a smooth running powerful reliable car (not a dragster) which handles the Southern California traffic and heat (accelerates and stops) well. As seen in the photos, it has classic lines, factory original color, beautiful paint and is just striking in appearance. It can be driven anywhere; bearing in mind that it’s basically an 81 year old car with a drag coefficient of a brick. I purchased this car 10 years ago for $22,500. Since then I’ve spent about $15,000 in parts and labor and about 4 million of my own man-hours (enjoying every minute). I’ve owned it for the last 10 years and am selling it due to lack of space. Mechanical:350 Chevrolet crate engine with Edelbrock 600 CFM carburetor, Edelbrock dual plane intake manifold, Pertronics ignition. engine driven fan plus two auxiliary electric fans, Carter rotary vane electric fuel pump, 12 volt electrical system and an Optima battery. THM 400 transmission with Gennie shifter and hand brake. 8in. Ford rear end with 3.0:1 gear ratio, power disk brakes in front, drums in the rear, Tubeless spoke wire wheels, Diamondback www radial tubeless tires.Rear tail/brake/turn signal lights are LED and super bright.Aft trunk is a custom built Varco trunk. Visual: All chrome is spotless.Polished engine parts are spotless.Paint is 95% excellent and looks great. Tires are spotless with minimal wear.The wire spoke wheels are magnificent.All glass is 100% spotless with a very slight tint on the side and rear windows.It has 1933 California (Year of Manufacture) license plates which will go with the car if it stays in Calif. If it sells outside California I will keep the plates.
