Since new I’ve personally detailed my M on a frequent basis using proper industry recognized techniques and materials from Griot’s Garage. My detail cart is a serious one. You may not find a nicer Infiniti “M” of this vintage and every mile accounted for by me, the sole and very meticulous owner. This car has NEVER been through an automatic car wash! It is mechanically perfect. Why am I selling? While it is the best sedan I’ve ever owned I simply don’t drive it enough anymore. Most of its 107,000 miles were clocked in the first four years of ownership. In the recent three years, I’ve driven only about 10,000 per year or less. Since new and until 100K miles, it has been covered under Infiniti’s Elite maintenance agreement under which all maintenance events have been performed. I must rave about Infiniti’s “Brake-Activated Front Pre-Crash Seat Belts”, a standard option on this M. Under emergency braking both front seat belts cinch up TIGHT! What a great feature especially if you have teen drivers. That’s why you only see them otherwise on police cars everywhere. At the first tire change (January of 2009) I installed Yokohama Advan S4’s which are a DREAM to drive on in all conditions! They grip well, last long (tread wear rating of 400) and are phenomenal in rain and snow.
