Vehicle Detail
1973 TRIUMPH 750 TIGER. NICE, CLEAN, RUNNING, RIDING CONDITION. For your consideration is my nice 1973 oil in frame 750, 5 speed Triumph Tiger. I purchased this bike from the original owner and have kept in my collection for the past 13 years. The motorcycle is good overall condition and always gets attention. The frame and engine numbers match, the mileage (11,869) is correct, and everything works as it should. It is a rider, so does show some signs of use. VIN#TR7RVGH35071. I have the clear North Carolina Title in hand. THE LIST OF WORK PERFORMED WHILE UNDER MY CARE. The original fenders/mudguards, fender braces, headlamp shell, and grab bar, were re-chromed. Front and rear wheel hubs were polished, and wheels were replaced with Buchanan’s stainless steel spokes. The Rims are CWC made in England. (Unfortunately, they do have some surface rust areas, see photos) Dunlop Road master TT100/K81 tires. Wheel bearings, brake shoes, front brake pads, brake hose and hydraulics rebuilt. Front forks rebuilt, lower legs polished. The engine top end was rebuilt. Cylinders bored, new .010, Pistons, the cylinder head was rebuilt with new valves, guides and seals. The original Amal carburetor was replaced with a new one. The entire exhaust system was replaced. The points were replaced with Boyer electronic ignition and new coils installed. The charging system was upgraded with an electronic rectifier. The electrical system all works as it should, and all lighting is original Lucas. The Gas tank was cleaned and permanently lined, and painted in the original colors with basecoat clear coat urethane. The frame was repainted. All decals replaced. Seat replaced. The clutch, and clutch cable were replaced. The gearbox shifts well. The bike has just been serviced, all fluids, fuel lines and battery have been replaced. Overall this is a nice presentable bike, which starts easily on the first kick. It has a good tight road feel. A $500.00 Paypal deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end. The balance may be paid in person, certified funds or wire transfer. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will assist in any way possible.
