Up for sale is my fully restored 1965 Mustang Fastback ! Body: The car is nice and solid and was repainted in Ford Guardsman Blue with Silver Shelby LeMans stripes a couple years ago. New front and rear bumpers, rocker moldings, tail-lights and all emblems were replaced. It is only driven occasionally and garage kept with a cover on it. The car is nice and straight with no dents or mis-aligned panels. The doors, hood and trunk all close like they should. All of the glass is in excellent shape with no cracks or scratched-up. It looks like the floors and all frame rails are original and rust free. I will upload some pics. Interior: The interior was all replaced and is in real nice shape. I added an autometer oil pressure and water temperature gauges under the dash to keep a closer eye on the engine since the stock instruments do not have gauges. This is the only modification done to interior. The dash has never been hacked-up and still has the original AM Radio. I like that all the fastback panels are in real nice shape with no speaker holes cut in them, even the trap door is in nice shape. The rear seat folds up and down just like it should. Suspension, steering, brakes and tires: The suspension has been rebuilt / replaced with all new components a couple years ago and upgraded with KYB Gas shocks and a large 1" sway bar. Front and rear brakes are fairly new. Wheels are original Ford Magnum 500 wheels. All the tires have lots of tread on them. The car rides real nice, it steers good, doesn't pull to either side, and stops good. Engine & Transmission: The engine starts right up every time with a quick twist. I just installed a brand new Holley 600cfm carb with Electric choke and that works real good. The engine is a rebuilt 302 with performance cam, Weiand Colt 500 Alum. dual plane intake, headers, dual exhaust and the Holley Carb. Oil pressure is 80lbs are start up and no knocking, smoking, ticking etc. It runs great and has plenty of power. Its a lot of fun to drive especially with the manual transmission. The transmission is a Ford Toploader 4spd which is a very dependable trans. The clutch is fairly new and is nice and smooth, no chatter or slipping. All the syncros are good and it shifts good and firm. It has a Hurst 4spd shifter with is much better than the stock one that rattles all the time. Also, it has a nice Alum. 4core radiator so it always runs at 180 degrees even in summer or at idle. Your welcome to come see the car and inspect it. The car is well maintained and oil changed before due. The car doesn't need any repairs. This is a car you can hop in a drive anywhere ! If you want to drive here and drive it back home, or you can fly into Roanoke and drive it home. I will even pick you up at the airport. Otherwise, I have a friend that works in shipping and can get very good rates on shipping the car through auto transport. He only uses companies that are fully insured. I can also get you a quote for shipping overseas. I can keep the car in the garage for a reasonable time until you make arrangements. MUST READ SECTION: I have a clear Virginia title in my name.
