**Lowered Reserve****Please see pictures to see current condition** This Volkswagen needs some love - but is incredibly fun and a definite eye-catcher! We bought this car a couple years ago, and then jumped into building a house and the car restoration went on the back-burner. Unfortunately, it is still not top priority at this point, and we need space in our garage. It does turn over, but currently doesn't want to keep idling. It did run when we purchased it, and then it just sat for a couple years. We did start it up and run it down the road last month and intended to do a couple more things to it to make the engine run more smooth and then it just didn't want to get going anymore. We did change the spark plugs, put a new belt on, changed the fuel filter/line and a couple other small things. I think the problem may be the battery or something else small. Like I said, it ran up the road a week ago - not purring like a kitten - but got us to point A and back.The car has had body work done and will need more. There is some rust on the bottom, also. The interior will need to be redone as well.
