Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 1989 Land Cruiser FJ62. My absolute favorite of the Land Cruiser models. Purchased this car a few years ago and did not spare a single penny fixing it up. Nothing on this car is sub-par. Over $20k invested with over $12,000 in receipts in hand that I will happily give to the buyer. There are other receipts that I have to dig and find but the truck speaks for itself. Always babied, always garaged. I intended on using it to drive over rocks and off road but work got in the way and I have never been able to properly use it except for cruising the rough roads of Los Angeles.Just a partial list of improvements I made-Front and rear re-gear to 4.88 & rebuilt knuckles by 4 wheel specialties ($2,600) Old Man Emu 4” lift kit including shocks, shackles, etc. ($1800 in parts alone) OME suspension install by Man A Fre ($900) Man a Fre Bull Bar ($1219 installed) Man a Fre Rock Sliders (welded on by MAF, $1300) Smittybuilt X20 10k lb winch ($700) New Catalytic Converter ($750) New Corbeiu reclining seats ($700 each) Toyo 35x12.50R20LT, Open Country M/T ($1600) Rear Driveshaft shortened and balanced by Man A Fre Brand new OEM lights all around New OWM Stay Assembly (from SOR) New Valve caps, plugs, and gaskets Sunshield professional 3m tinting New fuel pump New ¾ Shackle Anchor New fuses New Spark Plugs New Wipers Front & Rear Differential Service Amsoil Everything- Oil, Gear Lube, etc. New pins & bushings New breaks New grab bar New EGR modulator All parts and installations were done in the past 6-20 months. I have faced reality that I won't be able to use it as intended and my interests (and marital status) have changed so the only reasonable thing to do is sell it. You will be hard pressed to find a more capable truck that you can actually drive to your favorite trail.
